The app was made to be used by anyone involved in music lessons, both on the learning and teaching side of things.

Tonic Notes is designed for use in music lessons by students of all ages, with parent- and teacher-managed accounts for younger learners. Data is private and secure.

We don't sell user data, and don't plan to. Our model is subscription-based (students/parents pay directly), not selling data to advertisers. Lesson audio stays on our servers and never goes to third-party AI.

Tonic Notes uses components built by the leading AI labs, but our data pipeline is ours alone — proprietary and built in-house.

Yes, that's what pods were made for! A pod is a shared space for you and the people in your musical life: your teacher, your family, your studio. Lessons, practice, questions, and sheet music added to a pod are visible to everyone in it, and it all stays in sync.
